Every company in Federated Directory, has it's own login URL. The URL looks like this:


Example: https://www.federated.directory/of/expresso

When you log in, always make sure you use your company's login URL. Always verify the URL and your company logo on the login page (only if your company's administrator has uploaded a company logo).

Press the "Switch Company" button at the bottom when you are at a wrong login page or just change the URL in your browser.

In case your company administrator has connected multiple directories to Federated Directory, you will see a drop down list on your login page. From this drop down list you will need to select the directory your account is a member of. If you are not sure, please contact your company administrator.

There are basically two ways you can login to Federated Directory:

  • Login with a Federated Directory account
    Login directly with your Federated Directory credentials

  • Single Sign-On
    Login with an external account. For example a Google account, Microsoft account, or your company credentials. In this scenario, you will be redirected to the login page of that other service to authenticate. After authentication, you will automatically be redirected back to us.

Login with a Federated Directory account

When you log in with a Federated Directory account, it's pretty straight forward.
Enter your username and password and press log in. When your credentials don't match, you will be informed by a black message bar in the bottom of the page.

Forgot your password?

If you log in with your company credentials, this chapter is not for you. Since we don't manage these credentials, you have to reset your password at your company directly.

But if you log in directly with a Federated Directory account and you lost your password, then we got you covered.
On your login page, click on the "forgot password" link at the bottom.

In case your company has multiple directories connected, you will see a drop down menu at your login page. You have to select the correct directory from that list first. The "forgot password" link at the bottom changes based upon this selection. When you are not sure in which directory your account resides, please contact your administrator.

The password reset page

Enter your username or email address and press submit.

Forgot Password

After you click on "Submit" we will check if the entered username or email address can be found. If this is the case, we will send you an email with a link to reset your password within 24 hours.

If we can't find your username or we don't have a valid email address on your account, you won't be able to reset your password. In that case, contact your system administrator.

The link we send to your email address will take you to the location below, in which you can actually reset your password.

Password policy

Our password policy states that your new password must be between 8 and 30 characters long, with at least one lowercase character, one uppercase character, a number, and one special character.

Single Sign-On

Your administrator can configure the login process in such a way that you can log in with the credentials you use within your company. For example: your Google or Microsoft account or the same credentials you use to log in to your workspace.

In this case your login page will show a login button that says something like:

  • login with your company account
  • login with your Microsoft account
  • login with your Google account

When you select this button, you will start the login process below.

Login with SSO flow

We can not show you what step 3 looks like, because this step is company specific. Maybe you will be shown a login page or maybe you log in automatically.
Ask your company's administrator when something goes wrong along step 3.
